AVOYTE RV Water Heater – FAQ
🔧 1. No Hot Water / Water Not Heating
Why is there no hot water after turning on the faucet?
Possible causes:
- Gas valve or water inlet valve is not open
- Water supply is stopped
- Inlet and outlet pipes are reversed
- Unit is frozen
- Gas cylinder is empty
Solutions:
- Open gas valve and water inlet valve
- Restore water supply
- Reconnect inlet/outlet pipes correctly
- Allow unit to thaw before reuse
- Replace gas cylinder if empty
🌡 2. Water Temperature Too Low / Unstable Heating
Why can’t I get high temperature hot water?
Possible causes:
- Gas or water inlet valve not fully open
- Temperature setting exceeds system capacity
- Water demand is too high
Solutions:
- Fully open gas and water valves
- Lower temperature setting
- Reduce water flow rate
🚿 3. Cold Water Comes Out Unexpectedly
Why does cold water come out during use?
Cause:
- Water flow is below 0.7 GPM (2.5 L/min), causing automatic shutdown
Solution:
- Increase water flow to maintain stable heating
⏱ 4. Delay Before Hot Water Comes Out
Why is there a delay when turning on hot water?
Cause:
- Distance between heater and faucet causes water delay
Solution:
- Wait approximately 3 seconds for hot water to reach faucet
🌫 5. White Water or Steam from Vent
Why is the water white or smoky?
Causes:
- Tiny air bubbles released during heating
- Water vapor formed in cold weather
Solution:
- This is normal operation
💧 6. Water Dripping from Safety Valve
Why does water come out from the safety valve?
Cause:
- Water pressure exceeds safe operating limit
Solution:
- Reduce inlet water pressure
- This is normal safety protection behavior
🔄 7. Fan Keeps Running After Shutdown
Cause:
- Fan continues running for 10–20 seconds to cool system and remove residual gas
Solution:
- This is normal operation
